Super cool 1941 Chevy Street Rod with low miles! The odometer on this red, with yellow pin striping exterior and gray cloth interior Chevrolet shows 35,716 miles. Amenities include, but are not necessarily limited to the following items: a Chevrolet 350 V-8 engine with Edelbrock intake and Holley carb; automatic transmission; posi rear end; power brakes; tilt steering column; custom steering wheel; Alpine AM/FM/CD radio; air conditioning; clock; custom gauges and trailer hitch. Tires on this car are a set of newer Cooper CS4 Touring 215-60R15 radials mounted on polished AR aluminum mag wheels.
MECHANICAL: The engine starts easily, idles smoothly and is used every year. The transmission works well and shifts easily and the brakes pull the car to a straight stop. The steering is smooth, easy and tracks straight down the road. We were advised that the lights, horn, gauges and the radio are all in working order. The car has had very good maintenance.
EXTERIOR: The exterior physical condition of this car’s sheet metal is very good. There is no rust repair, dents or dings anywhere. The custom paint is good to very good, having been professionally done. There are a few small chips, stains and flaws in the paint, but it is smooth and glossy with no dust specks, runs or orange peel. The custom pin striping is in good condition. There are some bubbles are forming on the lower doors. The glass is in very good condition with no chips or scratches. The chrome and stainless trim are good to very good, with no pits, but a few small scratches.
INTERIOR: The professionally installed gray and red cloth interior is in very good condition, as are the door panels, headliner and carpets. The custom aluminum handles and trim are in excellent condition. The dash with the custom gauges is very good. The carpeted trunk area is in good condition.
ENGINE COMPARTMENT: The engine compartment is clean, but showing some use. There is a small amount of paint flaking off the engine, as well as a few chips.
CHASSIS: The undercarriage is clean and painted, but showing use. This 1941 Chevrolet Special Deluxe “Street Rod” 2-door sedan is a well sorted out, low horsepower, car that is very drivable. The quality of the work is very good. CONDITION CODE: #3
